Synopsis

It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for the holidays. When one of the guests is suddenly murdered, the festive gathering becomes a real-life mystery. Gillette takes on the role of Holmes himself, determined to uncover the killer before the next victim is claimed. Full of comedy, suspense, twists, and theatrical mayhem, Ken Ludwig’s The Game’s Afoot (Holmes for the Holidays) is a fast-paced murder mystery where everyone has something to hide.
